			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Wow!  The weather is perfect in Eldon, MO!  Birds are singing and everyone is outside.  I love it.  And just now&#8230; thunder!! MY FAVORITE WEATHER!!</p>
<p>Today is my last practice at <a href="http://www.harleyrace.com" target="_blank">Harley Race&#8217;s WLW Academy</a>.  I learned so much here, more than I could have learned anywhere else.  A lot of people are asking, will I continue to wrestle?  HECK YEAH!!  I love it!  I still have a lot to learn and want to keep improving my performance.  There is a wrestling ring at the gym I will be training at in LA.</p>
<p>I had a kick ass leg workout on Monday!  I have been taking <a href="http://www.jdoqocy.com/click-2915583-10409943?url=http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/now/msm.html" target="_blank">MSM for my knees</a> it is working.  You can choose from different brands on Bodybuilding.com.</p>

<p>I am happy as can be these days.  Looking forward to moving.  I move back home to Nebraska for a couple of weeks.  I am going to get rid of all the things I do not use.  Pack what is left over in my Yukon and make my way out to LA!!  YAY!!</p>

<p>I had such a busy few weeks; I spent a lot of energy.  So, I allow myself to come down from that life high and relax a bit.  I didn&#8217;t lift much last week and I am fine with that.  I don&#8217;t mind taking time off.  However, I do feel like a terd!  LOL!</p>
<p>I had a wrestling match in Leavenworth, KS yesterday.  I went over in a three-way tag match against Lucy Mendez and Amy Hennig.  It was a great match.  I am glad to retain the WLW woman&#8217;s title belt.  Tonight we travel to Eldorado Springs, MO.  Wish me luck!!</p>
<p>Oh, by the way.  I think I was relaxed enough last week to realize my soul mate had been knocking on my door for quite some time.  I had answered before, but I finally let him in.  Feels like the sun is shining!</p>

Thursday I did a Chest and Shoulder workout, but I took it kind of easy, as my right shoulder was talking to me&#8230; not screaming at me, but letting me know it wasn&#8217;t 100%. A lot of people ask me if I deadlift Sumo or Conventional.  I have always been a conventional style deadlifter. A great reference is the book <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0736063684?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=beccaswansonc-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325&#038;creativeASIN=0736063684">Strength Training Anatomy</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=beccaswansonc-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=0736063684" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" />.  It shows you use a lot more muscles in your back when lifting conventionally.</p>
<p>When it comes to shaping the back, I think conventional is the way to go.  If you are not competing in powerlifting, stay with a double overhand grip for symmetry.  In this case, I think it is okay to use <a href="http://ttp://www.jdoqocy.com/click-3819399-10409943?url=http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/sck/leath.html">straps</a> for grip support.  But, do not use them until you really need to.  Use a hook grip first; I put my first and middle finger on top of my thumbnail.  Hurts like an S.O.B. at first, but you get used to it.  When I was training heavy, I would use my overhand grip until 500 lbs, then I would switch to reverse grip.</p>
<p>I remind people that the strongest female deadlifter, me, and the strongest male deadlifter, Andy Bolton, deadlift conventionally.  So, if you want a big deadlift, do what the strongest deadlifters do.</p>
