I love birthdays!!  Everyones birthday is important and should be celebrated for multiple days!!

Last night my roommate and I went to my favorite gourmet pizza place.  Had a couple wings and beers.

Tonight we were invited to a friends house for crab legs, birthday cake and the UFC!!  I am a lucky birthday girl!

So Quiet

18 November 2010

I know I have been so quiet.  I have put myself into a cocoon for reinvention.  I am considering what kinds of colors I want to flaunt when I fly.

I am conjuring a plan.  My next desire is to write a book.  But, I want you to be involved.  So, keep in touch.  I will let you know how.

San Fransisco

18 November 2010

Here are some pictures from my recent trip to San Francisco.

La Taqueria claims to be the best burrito place on Earth. I heard about it all the way in Nebraska. It was my first stop in San Fransisco. The food was great, but the man who ran the cash register has a special way of making everyones day. He called me “Nebraska Girl” and gave me a free taco to go with my burrito. He also gave me samples of the yummy flavored drinks the sell. On my way out the door, I thanked him and he gave me a flower. What a memorable experience. I will be back!

And of course, this needs no introduction…

Some pics from around town.

This was the highlight of my trip to San Fransisco.  While wondering Fisherman’s Whorf, I saw these masts from afar.  I just had to get to them.  Low and behold it was open for tour.  It was so cool!  This boat had been around the world so many times.

John Kerwin Show

Travel Bug

9 November 2010

I am wanting to post so much stuff. I have been a travel bug lately. Currently, I am in San Fransisco.

I just got a link to the John Kerwin Show. When I find an internet connection, I will post the link.

Can’t wait to get back to LA. I prefer to lay low and train. However, the holidays will have me in the road a couple more times this year.

A question was posted to the post about the women’s meet in Sacramento. Do I get the bug to lift when I attend meets? … I sometime wonder about competing in tested raw meets. I would prefer knee wrap federations, to keep my knees protected. We’ll see…

Prize money will be distributed for the raw and gear divisions. We need to snowball this meet and have twice as many lifters next year AND increased prize money!!
