On to the good news!! I may be doing a music video on Saturday. And on Friday, I have an interview with MTV for a docu-reality show. Looking to the beginning of next month, I will be in a comedy sketch, Doug’s Dozens. Should be fun!
Well, I tell you what… Good thing I have my friend Jill Mills to experience ailments before I do. She had torn her triceps tendon before me, and guided me in strength recovery. She also once had Cat Scratch Fever… low and behold, my baby Banjo assisted me in contracting that too. So, I called Jill once again to flip flop over the experience. Now, if things go in threes and I know she had been surprised to learn she was having a bouncing baby boy… I am taking EXTRA precaution! (Mom, pick up your jaw.)
Also, yesterday I sprained my ankle while sweeping my kitchen floor. Don’t ask me how that happens, it shouldn’t. As my sister put it, “You weren’t cut out to be Cinderella, Becca” LOL! And I say I should have a man around the house to do this for me. ;o)
The ankle will be 100% in just a few days. It is the Cat Scratch Fever that is keeping me from lifting, as lymph nodes get extremely swollen. Doctors orders… No legs… I said, what about jiu jitsu and kickboxing? He said take it easy. Ugh! So, today I did chest and triceps. Tomorrow will be shoulders and biceps… and maybe tomorrow night see if I can do some LIGHT jiu jitsu.
Also crazy reading the antibiotic side affects… tendon tears!! WTH!!
Sooo, enough of that… Good news tomorrow… Stay tuned!
Go get this book! Fish!
I will share with you some personal thoughts I have while digesting the information in this book. The book was recommended by a friend. The first thing this friend did when we met… he Made My Day! And I will NEVER forget the feeling. I have had this feeling before with a few friends. It is the kind of thing that makes you stop and think… I should be more like this. Reading the book ‘Fish!’ will catapult me into action.
Today, I was walking out of Gold’s gym in Thousand Oaks, Ca. A Sears employee was talking to a suit and tie man that appeared annoyed with the conversation. I speed up my pace and got their attention. The Sears employee recognized me as a customer. I proceed to tell him how memorable his customer service was. He invited me for the friends and family discount on Sunday. I told him I would show up just to get a dose of his kindness. I am secretly hoping the suit and tie man was his boss. And also hoping that Mr suit and tie thinks a bit more of the wonderful Sears employee… because honestly, the employee is a wonderful spirit. If nothing else, the conversation made me feel better and built a better relationship with Mr employee.
Tomorrow, I am sending out a card to a good friend!
Here is my email if you have ANY questions: becca@beccaswanson.com

Sending positive energy to the little Angel that called me last night.
Well, as I type, she is sitting in my lap. She missed me so much when I was out of town. Good thing my friends Brandee and Cage came over to play with her. Banjo is so cool, she even plays hide and seek with new people. When I got home she was meowing and meowing as if to say, “Where did you go? I thought we had a pact!!” Well, we do JoJo. Part of that pact is a bit of freedom for mama, otherwise I may have gotten a dog. I said that last part and she suddenly understood me. She has been loving me and loving me ever since I got home. Lucky me!!
Here she is mesmerized by the candle. And on the sneak attack… hiding in my hat, in the sink and around the corner. She usually jumps out at me flailing her arms, then runs off. She is such a snuggle pumpkin too. I am so lucky!
Well, not full time… YET! Here are some pictures from my experiences as an actor.
The mansion is where we filmed Tiny Entourage, a comedy show with little people. And the other picture was from my fitting for the 3D imagery. That project is so secret, even the costume designers didn’t know the story.
I believe in myself!!! The first step to success!
