Somebody Stop ME!

6 May 2010

I feel fabulous.  I am in a routine.  I have done cardio every morning and ate clean all this week.

Each time I restart my diet, three days later I am amazed.  I say to myself every time, “It is amazing how good I feel after just three days.”

Being athletic is a huge part of my life… It IS my life!  Yesterday I did my first crossfit workout and I loved it!  Here is what I did:

5 sets of:

5 DB Deadlifts – 5 DB Hang Cleans – 5 DB Push Presses – 5 DB Squats

Increasing weight each round, rest as needed.  I had never done it so I used 30,35,40,45,50 lb DB’s.

Finally Good Food!

4 May 2010

Finally I got a chance to go to Costco and get healthy food.  I am going to be cooking up a storm tomorrow, making a weeks worth of grub.

So the plan this week.  Get back on track, eating healthy and hitting cardio and POUNDING the weights!  It will make me feel normal again!!

This is what I got:  Old Fashioned Oats, Chicken, Tilapia, Tuna, Almonds, Brown Rice, Eggs, Cheese, Asparagus, Greek Yogurt and some pre cooked chicken patties

My New Wrestling Family

3 May 2010

I am having such a good time learning how to work new wrestlers.  These are just a few of the new people I work with.

The handsome gentleman in the ball cap is Ric Drasin.  A great man!  Super genius at self promotion.  Check him out on www.ricdrasin.com and www.ricscorner.com.

One of The Hardest Things

2 May 2010

It has been a challenge.  When I left my life in Omaha, I left in peace.  I chose not to stir the pot.  To leave with grace and let my character stand for itself.

I hear some things through the grapevine, like a haunting.  Choosing not to stand up and justify myself is difficult.  But, it would be fighting the devil, a negative vortex.  I will let the tornado just pass on by.

I sleep with a clear conscious.  Every day, I choose happiness.

Truth Be Told

1 May 2010

I am kinda miserable.  I need a pattern.  I am not permanent in my living situation yet.  That will happen soon.

One of my mottoes has always been, “Consistency is the Key!”

While climbing the mountain to be the strongest woman in the world, I could tell you where I was going to be and what I was going to be doing for the next month.  A creature of habit.  I ate the same foods.  Lifted consistently.  Slept at the same hours every night.  I AM CRAVING FOR IT!

I always feel my best and look my best when I am in my groove.  Soon enough.  Then I will be posting more pictures and videos.  YAY!
